Greetings My Dear Family!
 
We hope that since we are only 7 months away that you have already put this date on your calendars and plan to attend.  The reunion events will begin Friday mid-day, August 28 and go through Sunday, August 30: with several activities being planned for each day. Please find below a brief itinerary listing some of the major events scheduled.  We will provide more in detail as time draws near.

  

- Friday, September 4 - Meet & Greet
- Saturday, September 5 - Tour, Banquet in Evening
- Sunday, September 6 - Church Service


The deadline for the $50.00 per household reunion dues was January 15 and we haven't heard from many of you. Please send these funds immediately to:

The reunion dues will cover overhead expenses and food for the Meet & Greet on Friday.
 
In addition to the $50.00 reunion dues per household, the cost for each family member to participate is $65.00 (13 years or older).  Ages 12 & under is free. The $65.00 per person will cover the cost of the banquet on Saturday evening. As we know, each individual that attends the banquet pays the same price regardless of their age.  Since we are not charging for ages 12 & under, each family member age 13 & older will carry the cost for the younger ones.  Our banquet will be held at the Charleston Plaza Hotel.   
 
There will be 3 installment payments for the per member cost. The months are March 15, 2015, May 15, 2015 and last installment being July 1st, 2015. We are giving you these options to help you in your financial planning. It is important that you meet these deadlines.

For those of you needing a hotel, we have a block of rooms for $139.00 per night at the Doubletree Hilton by Charleston Airport. Deadline for hotel registration is July 28, 2015. You will be responsible for reserving your own rooms.  Please don't forget to mention that you are with the McFadden/Whaley Family Reunion. Once the deadline is reached, if you need a hotel after the deadline has past, these rates are not guaranteed.  Please check the website for detailed information regarding the hotel reservations. 

We will not be ordering new T-shirts this year. You are welcome to wear one from the previous year on Friday and Saturday.  We have some T-shirts left over at a sale price of $7.00 each.  The website will be updated with the availability and sizes. This is strictly optional.  All sizes may not be available so this will be on a first come first served basis. 

New this year, we will have drawstring bags for a cost of $5.00 per bag. This is a great keepsake! This is also optional. Please visit the website for additional information.
 

On Saturday, we are setting up a tour.  Additional information will be forthcoming and again, this is optional.

We will also have our Annual Fundraiser again this year and we need your participation.  Sharon Rogers will be sending information to each family member around April.

The Reunion Committee will be working hard over the next several months to ensure that everyone has a great time. If you are interested in helping please let us know. We want to hear your ideas!  Please visit the family reunion website for updates
