It is my prayer that all is well and that you are as excited as I am about our 6th Family Reunion.
The dates of our reunion is July 22, 23 and 24th to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina Hotel, Hampton, VA.
FAMILY REUNION UPDATE INFORMATION:
After careful consideration regarding the overall cost this is our findings:
The Family Household dues of $50.00 will cover the Meet and Greet on Friday.
Each household is responsible for paying this annual amount for our reunion. We do ask that you please do not combine households.
The cost for the Banquet on Saturday:
Ages 13 - Adults is $65.00 per person same as last year.
Ages 4 -12 years of age is $30.00 per person.
Ages 3 and under are free.
Large Families of 4 or more
We understand that their or some family members with large families. Ethel has offered to sponsor two children ages 4-12 for ($30.00) each or 1 teen age 13-19 for ($65.00).
Sharon has offered to pay for 1-night hotel stay.
We will put those family names in and hold a drawing and will keep you posted.
If there are others who would like to help sponsor, please let us know.
Children and youth shirts are $11.00.
Adult sizes small to extra-large is $14.00.
2 XL and 3 XL are $17.00.
We have some left from last year. The cost is $5.00 per bag.
Each person is responsible for reserving their own rooms. The cost is $119.00 + any applicable hotel tax etc. Please book with the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina Hotel. We are contracted so many rooms and need to meet this quota. All of the details is on the http://www.mcfaddenfamilyreunion12.com website. Please be sure to use the hotel link on our family website and if you have any problems or questions when trying to reserve your room, please contact the hotel and let them know that you are with the McFadden Whaley Family Reunion party.
Also, if you do not have the IGH Hotel Rewards card I do encourage you to sign up for this card on the hotel website and receive hotel rewards credit. It is a free rewards card.
Sharon will be mailing out the fundraisers on this week. Some of you may have received them by now.If you haven’t please contact Sharon right away. We encourage all family members to please participate. This helps in offsetting some of the cost that we incur. Herb & Christine were the first prize winners on last year and Janae Peoples was the second prize winner.
Itinerary and Prizes:
We will have the same prizes as last year. More information will follow on this and the itinerary at a later date.
Just as a reminder! Anyone that would like to make a contribution towards Granny headstone, please feel free to do so. I sent a photo earlier this year.
Please go on the website http://www.mcfaddenfamilyreunion12.com website and register. This includes the t-shirt orders, banquet, names of attendees etc. Please do this as soon as possible. When you get the total amount owed, if you have already sent in money just deduct whatever you have sent from the total cost you get at the end of the form and make your check or money out for that amount.
