Good morning to all,
Unfortunately, on a recent family conference call this past Thursday, July 7, 2016, it was decided that we postpone the reunion until September 30, October 1 and 2 due to the slow response from some family members.  The count this year is way below the norm for us. 

Earlier this year while making plans, we asked who all were coming and many of you said yes and we made plans accordingly.  Your yes was included in booking of the hotel, food for the banquet etc. Now we’ve fallen short of that and this puts us in a predicament because we are still obligated to that contract. We’re praying that extending the time would give you an opportunity to reconsider. The hotel was willing to let us postpone but we had to hold this reunion before December 31, 2016.  Since Virginia can have harsh weather as well as snow, we thought it would be best to do this before winter sets in.

Sharon and I also offered to assist the larger families.  

What really breaks my heart is many of you that I have reached out to have ignored my calls, text and emails.  Not only mine but others have tried to reach out to you as well.  We will be calling again. Just let us know that you and your family are well. 

I pray that you will reconsider and go online and register today and book your hotel with the Crowne Plaza Hotel Hampton Marina, Hampton VA.  I will be updating the website with the new reunion dates.

Margaret and Tim may not be able to attend but they took care of their financial responsibilities as they always do.
 
This reunion is also for family and friends.  If you have a friend that you would like to invite they are certainly welcome.  They will only be required to pay for the cost of the banquet which is $65.00 ages 13-adults and $30.00 ages 4-12.  The hotel is $119.00 per night for 2 nights and with taxes a total of $273.32.  They can go online and register through the website.
